There will be a contingency plan in place due to the recent weather. We may not make it to Barnwell if the rain does not let up. It can get a little "soupy". All parks in the tri state area have been hit hard with rain and flooding. We will plan 2 days at daisy and 1 day at frielings if the rain continues. The goal is to get to barnwell but not if the mud is a foot deep. (Sorry Gail). Keep your fingers crossed for it to let up soon and get a little dryer. Can't wait to get this thing going.

Spare stuff:
Please post up items you can bring so as not to duplicate needs and save space.
I am bringing a tree saver some basic tools and a bottle jack :D
Will have a spare couple of tj u joints and a chromo outer and hub.
5 gallon spare gas can to throw in someone's truck

We could use a snatch block, tow strap, vise, ball joint press, welder and some scrap metal for emergencies. Should be able to find 110 at all the locations.

Please post up if you have something to bring.

I will have two snatch blocks, tow strap, vise and ball joint press. I also have a piece of 1/4" plate that I carry that we can use as needed for repairs. I have the following used parts for a JK Rubicon that aren't perfect but will get you home that I will bring . Rear axle shafts, front long side axle shaft, unit bearing, tie rod ends and drag link. I also carry a 1310 and 1350 u-joint.

If someone has room (trailer queens) and could bring a cordless tool set, drill, sawzall, grinder, that would be great also.

Hmmm must be driving a CJ or Cherokee.
Sounds good. Guess I'll leave my 5 gallon can at home.

Black spray paint will be aimed at all silver jeeps first. And those on Gail's special list leaders first.

I'll bring my small oxyacetylene torch set. A pretty good bunch of hand tools, 18 volt 1/2" impact wrench. Spare parts, TJ shock (1 each), TJ drag link, since I'm the only sucker with a Dana 30, extra front axles. 4.0L parts: motor mount, alternator. A tarp so we can change parts while broke down in the mud.
