I used G2 gears in my old ride, and had no issues. We are going with them in Gales Jk also. 4 Wheel parts is installing them next week. Others have used other shops, but I don't remember which. What re ratio are you planning on?

Well the plan is 35s eventually with these axles, if I go bigger new axles. 3.8 6 speed, and most charts put 4.88 in the higher range, and since ill be towing pop up or atv trailer I'd rather have some extra. But I'm still researching and planning. Northridge has a kit that's complete front an rear with install kits, but I don't know they quality of those gears.

I'm also considering lockers while I'm at it. I want selectable lockers just need to find the right ones in a price I like.

What he said. I pulled the covers off to put HD covers on and the gears looked great. And I enjoy the 4.88 ratio.

Bite the bullet and get ARB's.
Look at that, a SILVER Jeep!

I did G2 4.88s and Luke at A-1 auto install them front and rear. I've been pleased. I paid $200 rear and $250 front. (I think he charged me more on front since he knew it needed to match rear and I wasn't going else where.)

It's really tempting to just get the stuff and do it myself, I figure its something ill probably need to learn how to do and re gear my xj someday too, as well as any jeeps I have in the future. I hate Paying someone to do something I'm capable of doing or learning myself.
