Anyone have any ideas on how to remove a stripped bolt from the top of the bell housing? In case you don't know, the top 2 bolts connecting the bell housing to the motor are torx head bolts, and not standard ones. So, needless to say, before I found this out, I stripped one out. I think my next move is to drop the motor down to give me the clearance to cut the bellhousing off and then remove the bolt.
Any ideas?

Try a easeout?

Don't know how bad it's stripped... I would try a hand impact driver with an extension and either the correct size torq, or one size bigger. Or if you have a screwdriver socket that fits in the slot, use it on the hand impact.

I just put everything back together except for the front drive shaft (have to change out a u-joint). I guess that I will just drive it until it dies, then I will take off the whole front clip and pull out everything....maybe by that time I will have a stroker built!

All back together.....just have to get 4 bolts for the front driveshaft, and then the Ghost is 100%. Time for some wheelin...finally!
