Looks like a fun project. Sure gonna be cold working in that shop though. Topless in a jeep is great, a topless shop though, not so much.

LOL Metal is on order for the shop. Hopefully ill be putting the metal on next weekend, weather permitting...

Its going to be some work. It has a TBI Chevy v8, displacement unknown; looks like a T350 tranny. 203/205 doubler, hydro assist ram, and a box of other stuff. It came with the stock fuel tank and a fuel cell, not sure which route to go there yet. Will need a good radiator and some brackets for the power steering and stuff. (Also got some like new MTR 37's for the JK thrown in on the deal :D so now I have some gently used KM2 35's for the YJ)

And it already has the trusty 30/35 axle combo. (gearing unknown)

Im thinking on using the 44/9" we already have.

Let me know if you want some help on Sat with the metal. I can drop off the paint at that time as well. Have several gallons left over from my last upgrade that I did :D . Putting 37's on WooHoo's jeep is like lighting the fuse on a firecracker with a blindfold on. You know its going to blow up, you just don't know when. Can't wait to see the YJ in action. I say run the 44/9. Should be a great combo for a gentle driver such as yourself.

I have a bunch of parts for that. Also have a warranty credit for a new YJ radiator if you want. So I'll get you the new radiator for free if you like.

When you're ready to do some suspension, you should check out my stretch. It used $28 worth of junkyard springs + $30 amazon bushings resulting in double main leafs and same wheel base as your LJ.

Thanks on the radiator, itll need the sbc radiator ports. :D

Your reading my mind with a stretch. I was thinking along the lines of Wagoneer/cherokee combo.

Sweet. Feel free to drive in mine. I wouldn't trade my springs for anything aftermarket. They're nice.

This radiator has a bunch of universal transmission hookups. I'll get it to you and let you see if it works. (It should)

Soonermatt, what front and rear springs did you go with? I'm thinking Wagoneer front and Ranger rears. I'd like to stay away from the XJ springs, due to their weakness...

Thanks to MajorMud, I have a set of J20 axles(44/60 8 lug) on reserve. The 44 has the pass. drop I will need.
