Best Place in Town to Have Axles Done?

Where's the best place in town to get axles re-geared? Also, has anyone gone from 3.73 to 4.56? Did you see quite a difference in torque and gas mileage?

I went to 4.88 on 35s. Torque is great but not so much on the mileage thing. My mileage went down just like Fatty on the trail.. I am getting about 13ish mpg if i will keep my foot out of it. Your running the auto tranny so it will make a good combo.

Gary's automotive
401 SE 97 off of S Shileds in Moore.
794-0988

My 4.88's kick butt, gas mileage is about the same for me based on trip meter distance. Never checked MPG before the swap, fro fear of mass depression. But I can run cruise control on highway in 6th and not have to keep down shifting. 4.88's and 35's who's calculating MPG anyway!

I have also used Gary's. He did a great job on my Dana 44's.

How much did it cost at Gary's for 4.88 front and back?

I used gary's 2 years ago for my axel swap. G2 Dana 44 front and rear. He did a great job. No issues with them. I would refer him without any hesitation.
